An angry fan apparently leaked LeBron James’ location after he was refused a photo opportunity
NBA star LeBron James is some of the recognizable sports figures on the planet, but fame can have its downsides. The Lakers star learned that the hard way during a recent trip to New York.
In a video posted on June 27, just hours before it was announced that Bronny James would join his father because the Los Angeles Lakers’ newest drafted player, a disgruntled fan revealed LeBron James’ location after being refused permission to take a photo with the NBA star.
James was spotted at a restaurant in New York. Apparently, security stopped the fan when he approached him and asked for a photo. In retaliation, the fan recorded a video and encouraged other fans to “drive over.”
“Hey Bron dubbed my photo,” said a fan. – I’ll warm him up in a moment.
“Everyone, come over. This n***a eats lunch here,” the fan said before pointing to the restaurant where James was eating. According to the post, the restaurant was called Au Cheval in Lower Manhattan.
“If you want a picture with LeBron, everybody stop right here… Right now. He’s having lunch with Dwyane Wade,” the person said before the video ended.
James isn’t visible within the video. However, the fan showed many vehicles that likely belonged to James and his entourage.
After the video went viral, other fans condemned the person for sharing the NBA star’s location.
“A grown man did all this based on a photo,” wrote a social media user he stated.
“Your fucking right,” he said one other fan. “That’s why famous people hate you so much and don’t even want to talk to you anymore. You know no boundaries and you think that because you see them on TV or listen to their music, you should pay attention to them. They shouldn’t tell you anything.”
Strange behavior, bro” – fan bluntly recorded.
It is unclear whether James was actually within the restaurant on the time, because the video doesn’t provide any visual confirmation. James lives in Los Angeles, but can have traveled to New York for the 2024 NBA draft. The annual event was held in Brooklyn on June 26 and 27. James’ oldest son, Bronny, was drafted by the Lakers on June 27. Bronny will now have the opportunity to play alongside his father within the NBA.
James took to social media to have fun his oldest son being drafted. “LEGACY!!!!!” James with subtitles an Instagram photo of him sitting on the sphere with young Bronny.
