How G League Ignite will be remembered
As of 2020, G League Ignite is arguably the most well-liked destination for top NBA players. It has produced 10 NBA players, including top 10 Houston Rockets players Jalen Green (2021), Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga (2021), New Orleans Pelicans forward Dyson Daniels (2022) and Portland Trail Blazers guard Scoot Henderson (2023). . However, with changes in basketball, including name, image and likeness in college, the NBA decided in March to disband the G League Ignite program.
In the ultimate class of the NBA’s G League Ignite draft, the team has three potential draft picks: forwards Ron Holland, Matas Buzelis, Tyler Smith and Babacar Sane within the 2024 NBA Draft on Wednesday (8 p.m. ET ABC/ESPN/ESPN+).
