Boxer Roy Jones Jr. announced the tragic news that his 32-year-old son DeAndre had died. He informed his social media followers that DeAndre took his own life on June 22.

On June 24, Jones shared the sad news on Instagram.

“Sadly, my son DeAndre took his own life on Saturday. I am so grateful that God allowed me to come home on Friday evening to spend the last night of my life with me and my family. I know many people are going through difficult times right now, but nothing is worth taking your own life. God gives it and God should be the one to take it away.”
