Watch: Meet R&B singer and LGBTQ+ activist Tanya Nolan
June is Black Music Month and we have a good time the musical achievements and contributions of assorted Black artists.
They say the whole lot is greater in Texas, and that statement couldn’t be more true than for a Texas resident – he asked Nolan. The singer and entrepreneur has released a brand new single titled “Honey,” which she describes as energetic and “as sweet as healthy agave cactus honey.” The song was co-written by R&B singer-songwriter Raheem DeVaughn, who also helped write her second single “Pace Yourself.”
In addition to her success as a recording artist, Nolan has been involved in several ventures, including two successful day care centers and managing rental properties, employing over 200 employees.
Nolan can be a proud LGBTQ+ activist and uses her platform to advocate for equality and representation within the music industry.
