In an interview with Jon Aba on Comedy Hype News this month, she explained that fans often assume that the success of a syndicated comedy series indicates significant residual control. However, she clarified that this shouldn’t be the case.

Aba asked her how she reacts to it, and Winbush replies, “People outside the acting world have no place to talk about it.”

“Oh, those Bernie Mac checks must have dried up,” he quotes some fans as saying. She replies, “What was work like 20 years ago, when I was 12?”

The host then suggested that perhaps fans thought “the leftovers were still coming out.”

Wiinbush replied, “I mean, yes… but listen… if I was on Friends and I was making a million dollars an episode. Yes, those remaining checks would still be very nice. However, over time, they become smaller and smaller from year to year. You no longer make the same amount of money per episode as you did when the show aired.”

She said, “So as someone who was just a kid, don’t get me wrong, I still make good money, but 20 years later, those paychecks can’t sustain me.”

Winbush added that the “industry” may be “fickle” and said actors “can’t count on any job” to support them.

Therefore, she made changes in her life to ensure an inflow of money. She says she has done many roles over the years. While still a teenager, she bought and ran her own ice cream parlor for 3 years. The 34-year-old also talked about regular 9-to-5 jobs, including teaching gymnastics, for which she paid between $11 and $12 an hour.

OnlyFans got here along and allowed her to make good money on her own terms.

Winbush rationalized, “If I can find a way to earn enough to buy a house from the comfort of my living room, why wouldn’t I?”

“The Neighborhood Talk” fans do different opinions about your latest source of income.

Some people said, “She’s making excuses. She could have achieved so far more in life than living off Bernie Mac and his checks. She thought she should live her life on checks from one program and never get a job, trade or education. and I believed this was the only way she could pay the bills… I do not believe her in any respect.

Previously, Winbush had been wondering about this for many of her adult life and stated that she also didn’t have a team that would “aggressively” fight to get her into a “new door” after the program ended.

Not all comments were negative. Others told other social media critics to mind their very own business.

“If you don’t help her pay her bills… she can do whatever she wants,” one person wrote. Another asked: “Why do we always talk about people’s money?”

The “Comedy Hype News” host later said that fans deemed her too good to be on a platform like OnlyFans, but Winbush backed down.

“As an actor, you play different characters and get involved in all sorts of scenarios. You can play a drug dealer, a drug addict, a murderer, well, a stripper. People are having, um, sex. … Well, not real sex, but you know innuendo sex on camera,” she introduced. “So what’s the difference?”

Despite what critics say, Winbush says her life has modified drastically.

He now not works in jobs that pay lower than minimum wage. She claims she made $2 million in two years, which is greater than she ever made as a traditional TV actress.
