Megan Thee Stallion holds back tears over the possible release of an AI-generated sex tape

Megan Thee Stallion was overcome with emotion during a stop in Tampa, Florida reports an alleged AI-generated sex tape featuring her likeness.

IN video In footage posted by a fan, the 29-year-old rapper may be seen lowering her head and taking a moment to compose herself before performing her No. 1 song “Cobra” at the Amalie Arena on Saturday night. In the video, Megan tries to rap the song while waving her hands round her face and covering her eyes, apparently attempting to stop herself from crying.

Megan’s touching moment comes after reports of a fake video purporting to point out her likeness performing sex acts. Deepfakes are videos, photos or audio clips “created using artificial intelligence to look realistic,” it says BBC.

Megan had reached out to X (Twitter) earlier on Saturday to seemingly address the tape, which she described as “fake.”

“It’s really sick how hard you try to hurt me when you see me winning,” she wrote on the social media platform. “You’re going too far, you fake shit. Just know that today was your last day of fun with me and I mean it.

Megan has yet to say her vulnerable moment on stage, but she did thank her fans in Tampa: post on Instagram on Sunday.

“TAMPA Hotties 🥹🥹🥹🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 Thank you, I love you all! Your energy was everything! I love you babes 💙,” she wrote under a montage of the concert video.

Megan is in the middle of her nationwide Hot Girl summer tour, which incorporates stops in Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago, Memphis, Philadelphia and more. The Houston native announced her latest self-titled album on June 2 while in Atlanta.

She revealed the album cover in an Instagram post following her announcement. On the cover, Megan hangs the other way up as she emerges from a butterfly cocoon. She’s in what appears to be the lobby of a constructing, with a capital letter “M” embossed in the painting behind her.

Megan explained how she uses animal imagery in an interview with: Officialreferring to her snake-themed singles from the latest album.

“This is what everyone is seeing right now,” she shared in a May cover story. “Renewal, rebirth: that’s the whole concept of this (album). We started with a snake because first of all I love snakes, but I feel like snakes are misunderstood, especially in Western culture. Snakes represent rebirth, spirituality. I’m not a person who says, “Oh my God, it’s sunny and just super bubbly and happy.” I like darker things. I like things that are a little scary. I like things that are unique. I chose the snake because… he’s kind of like an anti-hero.”

The album will probably be released on June 28 under Megan Thee Stallion’s production company, Hot Girl Productions.
