Last week in the celebrity beauty world, hair reigned supreme due to several statement styles. On the one hand, modern Bantu knots and braids have given us great inspiration. On the other hand, the inverted bobs and curls added a bit of softness. Although makeup took a backseat, several looks — including smoky wings, smudged eyebrows and daring eyeshadow — added volume to the hair.

At the top of our feed, Fenty Hair’s Rihanna paired her “retired” T-shirt with a draped blonde braid (as if she’d just ripped off a wig) and fastened it with pearl hair clips. Jodie Turner-Smith paired her ultra-short inverted bob with sweet pink makeup and almost invisible eyebrows. To add some drama, Doja Cat’s brows became even thinner, framing a blurred wing with golden yellow shadows all the solution to the brow bone. And when did Aoki Lee Simmons occur? She modeled for Alexander Wang, in a more neutral style, with LipLaq by Isamaya Beauty; resembles her mother’s beauty.
