Rapper The Game seems to have had enough of his 13.8 million Instagram fans and others after he worn out his entire Instagram portfolio.

He deleted all posts except one photo with the late Nipsey Hussle. The move comes after the backlash he received after posting a heartfelt message for his daughter, California Dream Taylor, which some critics described as “weird.”

The Compton resident’s Instagram purge comes after days of controversy following a post honoring his daughter celebrating her eighth-grade graduation and highschool start.

On Thursday, June 6, the 44-year-old dad shared an intimate moment on Instagram, posting a photograph of himself and his daughter wearing a graduation cap and gown. The photo’s caption was an honest reflection on fatherhood, describing it because the “greatest part” of his life and praising his daughter’s academic achievements.

“The most amazing love I have ever experienced. @calilynndreamtaylor being your father is the greatest part of my life,” the “Hate It or Love It” recording artist wrote.

Adding, “You are my whole heart and I am thrilled and more than proud to be your best friend and dad. I am and will always be with you, especially when you need me the most. From watching you be born… to watching you effortlessly achieve success in all areas of your life, it is not only a joy to see… but also an experience for which I thank God every day.”

“You are everything I imagined… you make straight Fridays look like easy work and you are a charming soul to everyone who meets you,” he continued. “Thank you so much for being my baby… And now… it’s time for graduation… briefly. 8th grade, see you soon…..High school, here we come!!!! I love you California Dream (heart emoji) Sincerely, your TWIN.”

When the Shadow Room sent screenshots of the celebratory post on his page, many individuals on social media weighed in on the intentions of his post, assuming absolutely the worst. Some even assumed it was a proposal after The Game appeared on one knee, handing his daughter a flower.

“I don’t assume this young lady was propositioned… that’s weird,” one person wrote.

Another said: “They always take weird photos! Before I knew who they were, I thought it was a proposition!” Another critic said: “Middle school? These kids seem like adults now.

Other people commented on how beautiful Cali was, often noting that she looked much older than a teen. Coming to his defense, one person said, “These comments show exactly who his father didn’t love growing up.”

But this is not the primary time people have criticized the dad for using such affectionate language towards his daughter.

On her thirteenth birthday, he wrote: “I love you with everything God has given me and there will never be a second, minute, hour, day, week, month or year that I won’t be with you…. Especially on the days you need it most.”

Many called the rapper “sick”, pointing to a photograph of him and his twin hugging one another and saying it was inappropriate.

People were also upset around Halloween when the nepo child dressed up in a Dallas Cowboy crop top and biker shorts with a decorated football-shaped purse.

They claim the teenager looked too adult within the costume.

Dad didn’t just like the outfit either, but he accepted the indisputable fact that his daughter was growing up.

“Does straight A.. heavy in a straight line…. So that is the primary Halloween. I let her select her own costume and without hesitation, she went straight to @fashionnova with her mom’s card, lol… she was acting sweet, but I still do not feel like fighting someone… I just do not know who (And someone tell her we’re family 49- years old),” he wrote.

He added: “To all the fathers who have beautiful daughters… I feel your pain.”

Not everyone had problems with their final exams, and a few even reprimanded those that tried to dirty their daughter’s sweet note.

“The father wound screams loud as hell in these comments. It’s sad that not everyone had the chance to experience Dad! She’s daddy’s little girl, IYKYK,” someone wrote.

Another confused IG user wrote: “Considering the way the world treats us, there is nothing more valuable than a father who loudly loves his black daughter!!! (heart and applause emoji).”

The Game, whose real name is Jayceon Taylor, can be the proud father of two sons: 20-year-old Harlem Caron and 16-year-old son King Justice.

The mother of his oldest Harlem child is Aleska Jordan.

California Dream and King Justice are the youngsters he shares with Tiffany Cambridge.
