‘Boy Meets World’ star Trina McGee is reflecting on being pregnant at 54

This week, actress Trina McGee announced that she is expecting her fourth child Instagram.

“At the age of 54, I got pregnant,” she wrote, sharing her plans to take a break from social media. “Please bless us with your prayers for a safe delivery.”

Following her announcement, McGee opened up about her pregnancy journey Entertainment Tonight (ET). (*54*) the “Boy Meets World” star is already the mother of three adult children – Ramia, 31, Langston, 29, and Ezra, 25 – from previous relationships, the star revealed that she and her husband Marcello Thedford at all times dreamed of getting a toddler together .

“I’ve been saying for a long time that I wanted to have a child with my now husband of 16 years,” she told ET, explaining how the couple considered various conception options. Having did not conceive without intervention, the couple hesitantly considered in vitro fertilization (IVF).

I really need to be paid attention to what I’m watching once I turn on the screen. Because for me stress is a very powerful factor.

Admittedly, McGee was nervous about finding the energy to boost a newborn and maintain her skilled profession. McGee shared the great thing about having a baby later in life.

“I have all this wisdom now and I know things. I made all these mistakes and had some real triumphs with other kids,” she added. “So now I can put it all together and pour it into this child and prepare him for the reality that is coming.”
