Here are all the celebrity couples who slayed at the 2024 Met Gala
Another Met Gala is upon us, and we will still count on a few of our favourite black couples to point out up and shine on fashion’s biggest night. This 12 months’s theme, “The Garden of Time,” was inspired by the Costume Institute’s latest exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Fashion Awakens.” So we’ve numerous floral looks and avant-garde concepts because celebrities and their stylists desired to think outside the box (we’re looking at you, Doja Cat).
However, we were pleasantly surprised by a few of our favourite Black celebrity couples, like Queen Latifah, who strutted the beige carpet together with her partner of many years, Eboni Nichols, a dancer and choreographer. It was her first time participating on this event. We then had the Wades close the carpet with floral spring looks in shimmering greens and lavender. We also had the pleasure of witnessing Kerry Washington and her husband, Nnamdi Asomugha, decorate the carpet together, which is a rarity. Finally, we also spotted Reverend Al Sharpton and his partner Aisha McShaw glowing on the carpet.
