Mother’s Day is just across the corner and in honor of all of the moms and figures who tirelessly keep us fed, warm and loved, we have put together a round-up of our favorite stylish celebrity moms. These women have built empires and still have time to deal with their children, and they give the impression of being amazing while doing it. Style and motherhood go hand in hand for these people.
Stylish moms including Beyoncé took their first-born daughter Blue Ivy with them on her Renaissance tour to see Serena Williams. Williams shows her daughter Alexis Ohanian that nothing is inconceivable, these women embrace their changing bodies and honor them through intentional dressing. Black women particularly were scrutinized for their bodies, and each women empowered black moms to embrace and love their bodies. Lisa Bonet and Erykah Badu are OG black hippie moms rocking ’90s bohemian style. Since then, Badu has taken a more maximalist route together with her looks, but has remained true to her style ever since.
Fashion icon Diana Ross paved the dazzling path for her stylish daughter Tracee Ellis Ross. In contrast, Rihanna’s personal style easily rubbed off on her sons, even of their kid’s outfits. Actresses Viola Davis, Jada Pinkett Smith and twin sisters Tia and Tamera Mowery show not only smart words to pass on to your kids, but in addition authentic and graceful self-expression. Singer Ciara has repeatedly proven to us that with motherhood you do not lose your sensuality.
