FAA lays out facts as Rick Ross fuels rumors that Drake caused his private jet to ‘crash’ amid ongoing arms conflict
A private jet carrying Rick Ross was involved in an incident in Dallas, Texas, and the “Hustlin'” rapper quickly took to social media to state that he knows who was behind the unlucky event. However, Ross’s story doesn’t quite match Federal Aviation Administration reports.
Ross arrived in Arlington, Texas aboard a Gulfstream Aerospace Gulfstream V (twin-jet) private jet on Thursday, May 2, ahead of a scheduled appearance at The Garden Restaurant & Bar in Dallas later that evening. The next day, photos of a Rick Ross plane stuck within the grass near the runway hit social media and immediately went viral.
The X account keep6ixsolid was the primary to post the photos with the caption: “Rick Ross’s jet crashes in Dallas. He just clowned Drake for his Boeing 767.”
In one other tweet, user X writes: “The wing stopped the plane.”
Ross empathized with the plane crash hysteria and shared photos of his grounded jet on his Instagram Stories with the caption stating“A DRAKE fighter shot us down.”
Ross then posted a tweet saying to X: “My jet just crashed; A Drake OvO F16 fighter just shot us down.
The two men have been at odds online since Ross posted his diss track “Champagne Moments,” which was aimed at Drake in April.
Ross often trolls Drake, calling him “white boy” and “BBL Drizzy,” and Drake also attacked Ross in his diss track “Push Ups.”
The 48-year-old described in detail the terrifying moments before his plane plunged. In a video posted to his Instagram Stories, Ross explained: “Thank you all for all your prayers, but I’m telling you, we’re in a jet and I see a fighter jet,” he said. he reminded as it made a flying sound. “I can see his nose. Despite Ross and Drake’s constant trolling concerning the incident, the Federal Aviation Administration’s account of what happened is far less dramatic.
“The left main gear of a Gulfstream G-5 business jet became stuck in the grass while taxiing after landing at Arlington Municipal Airport in Texas at approximately 6:30 p.m. local time on Thursday, May 2.
