Watch DK Metcalf of the Seattle Seahawks lock up a disrespectful high school student in front of his friends for calling him trash
Seattle Seahawks forward DeKaylin “DK” Metcalf recently taught a high school student a quick lesson in humility he’ll always remember.
On April 23, a Los Angeles high school student recorded footage of the NFL star seemingly confronting one other student at Cathedral High School. The video was captioned: “Dk Metcalf pressured a kid at my school.”
When the incident occurred, Metcalf was on campus for a scheduled practice with other players.
“Jalen Ramsey is your daddy,” the boy said before Metcalf asked him to repeat himself.
“What are you saying?” Metcalf said, walking up to the young man.
“I said Jalen Ramsey is your daddy,” the boy replied, prompting the NFL star to ask, “Why did you say that?” “A movie,” he replied.
“Jalen Ramsey is your dad.”
“Who are you?”
DK Metcalf encountered a troll on Twitter IRL and created it.

Jalen Ramsey is a seven-time Pro Bowl running back and currently plays for the Miami Dolphins. He also won a Super Bowl during his profession with the Los Angeles Rams. Ramsey often defends Metcalf each time the Seahawks face Ramsey’s team.
Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey has allowed zero or one catch in 4 of seven games played this season.
Ramsey gave his opponent a passer rating of 22.4.

Metcalf then quickly humiliated the high school student by simply asking, “Who are you?”
Metcalf’s offhand query drew laughter from the group of young people standing next to the teenager, who introduced himself as Sebastian.
“Who are you? Who are you?” the group could possibly be heard repeating.
Metcalf ended the exchange by asking Sebastian if he played football.
The teenager revealed that he was indeed a football player, and the NFL winger began wishing the young man good luck in pursuing his pro-football dreams.
“Good luck, brother,” Metcalf said.
“Thank you,” Sebastian replied.
“No problem,” Metcalf said, turning around and walking back toward the football field.
Fans had a lot to say about the exchange on social media.
“These kids are so disrespectful these days,” one soccer fan said on the show X platform.
“Dk is a really good guy to walk away and just wish him luck, knowing that in a matter of seconds he could have ruined this guy’s entire high school life,” said a commenter on TikTok.
“He murdered that kid, but I’m afraid that kid is right.” Commenter X replied.
Metcalf, 26, spent his entire NFL profession with the Seahawks as a two-time Pro Bowl player. He finished the 2023 season with a team-leading 1,114 receiving yards.
Off the field, Metcalf has been romantically linked to singer Normani. The couple attended the wedding of Metcalf’s teammate Tyler Lockett in July 2023. Normani posted a photo of Metcalf kissing her on the cheek at the wedding, which seemingly confirmed that they were together.
Viral videos of hecklers causing backlash from skilled athletes have gotten increasingly common. NBA star Russell Westbrook has had quite a few encounters with trash-talking fans over the years, but in January, he tapped a fan for an up-close-and-personal chat about trash talk.
And the heckler did exactly what the Los Angeles Clippers star asked. A fan, wearing a Minnesota Timberwolves jersey, approached Westbrook on the basketball court during the team’s warmup.
“I’m not the one. I’m not one” Westbrook said during a brief face-to-face exchange after he instructed the fan to return to their seats.
