Multiple crew members injured in accident on the set of Eddie Murphy’s ‘The Pickup’
Multiple crew members were injured on the set of the upcoming MGM film “The Pickup,” starring Eddie Murphy and Keke Palmer.
According to Diversity, The Amazon MGM Studios film is produced in Atlanta. The studio confirmed that “multiple people were injured” during filming of the project. “Unfortunately, the sequence did not go as planned, resulting in several crew members being injured,” a studio spokesman said in a press release.
According to Related pressa scene of the incident involving two motorcars was conducted on Tuesday evening and “every precaution was taken.” Two crew members were taken to hospital, one remained in hospital. All members are expected to make a full recovery.
Statement sent to he told the AP“We are still in the process of gathering facts about what happened and why, but our thoughts are at the beginning with those recovering. The well-being of all crew and forged is our top priority and we are going to proceed to insist on the highest industry safety standards during filming. All safety measures were checked before the session and monitored during it.

IATSE, the union representing crew members, said in a press release that it was aware of the situation and had launched an investigation but “cannot provide further details yet.”
“Reception” is described as heist comedy directed by Tim Story. According to the AP, Murphy heads the forged together with Palmer and “SNL” alum Pete Davidson, neither of whom was on set when the accident occurred.
