Deion Sanders Educates Son Shilo About His Controversial ‘Fit Woman’ Dating Preferences

When Coach Prime is not busy working on the sport plan or leading Colorado’s team meetings or practices, he is targeted on being a father to his five children: Deiondra, 32, and Deion Jr. (30), whom he shares together with his first wife, Carolyn Chambers; Shilo, 24; Shedeur, 22; and daughter Shelomi, 20, whom he shares together with his second wife, Pilar Biggers-Sanders.

In a video posted to Instagram on April 9, Shilo and his famous father talked candidly about dating.

“Do you want to breed,” Deion Sanders asked his son.

Shilo tells his father that breeding isn’t currently within the cards, but then explains what he’s on the lookout for in a young lady.

“No, if I’m dating now… I’m looking for a woman who…. he’s athletic, you know, I need to see if he can jump, if he can run,” Shilo replied amid laughter from his father, a former NFL player and current assistant coach and Colorado graduate Warren Sappand others on the Buffaloes football facility.

“Well, let’s just call it like it is… let’s call it like it is, let’s call it like it is,” Sapp interjected.

“This is breeding! This is a breeder! You are looking for someone who is a good breeder,” added Coach Prime.

“I’m being smart, Dad,” Shilo shot back.

“You can’t date a 4-11 girl and think you’re going to have a point guard in the NBA,” Colorado’s head coach noted.

Several people in Instagram comments compared him to Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, who became famous for saying that he fathered eight children for breeding athletes.

“When I was younger, I wanted to have kids who were athletic, so I dated those who had a sports background,” Johnson said on a February 2023 episode of Club Shay Shay. “I need to see what you did in high school?” Have you played volleyball? Were you running? Did you do anything sporty? Do you will have a recording or something?

Ochocinco’s methods appeared to have paid off. His 18-year-old daughter, Cha’iel Johnson, recently announced her decision track on the University of Kentucky after being a sports star throughout her childhood. His son, Chad Johnson Jr, is a winger at Arizona State.

In addition to Coach Prime’s sons, whom he coached at Jackson State and Colorado, his daughter Shelomi was also blessed with sports genes. She played basketball at Colorado last season but decided to enter the transfer portal – a call that apparently didn’t sit well along with her father.

“(It) was stupid,” Sanders told DNVR when asked about his youngest daughter’s decision to depart Colorado. “You don’t go into the portal. You receive the team before entering the portal. You form of get the team before you enter the portal. You know, that is what I might advise a baby to do. And I do know, “Well, that’s illegal…” Come on, man.

Primce’s eldest daughter, Deiondra, announced in March that she was expecting her first child with singer Jacquees. In a social media post, she explained that the pregnancy was unexpected.

Although this was not planned or expected, it’s something that God allowed. I won’t give birth to a baby to maintain a person. I’ve been having a baby all this time once I was told I would not give you the option to. I’m giving birth to my baby after the 4 myomectomies I’ve had. I’ve been giving birth to my baby all these years I’ve been on contraception, although it gave me breast lumps,” Deiondra wrote.

Coach Prime shared his feelings concerning the pregnancy in an interview with People, joking that there was “no one thing” that excited him about becoming a grandfather.

“I haven’t digested it all yet.” Sanders said publication.

But he also said he was happy with his daughter. “I’m happy with my baby for waiting at the least until she was thirty to provide me this gift of life. I’m completely satisfied about that, but I need to ensure he’s straight emotionally and psychologically.
