Kevin Hunter’s legal battle to secure financial stability at the expense of his ex-wife Wendy Williams has change into more complicated.
Hunter has been trying to get child support for 2 years, claiming that he received his last payment of $37,000 in January 2022. His ex is under probation, so from May 2022, Sabrina Morrissey’s legal guardian can supervise her funds and medical care.
Earlier this yr, Hunter filed for severance pay under his and Williams’ divorce agreement, also requesting access to his ex’s financial records.
“This is an urgent matter because my living expenses are based on severance pay and the lack of this income for twenty-three months has had a profound impact on me,” he wrote in the court’s order. In March, a judge denied him access to her bank statements.
Morrissey recently filed documents alleging that the former “Wendy Williams Show” executive producer received six-figure improper payments. She claims the settlement stipulated that his support could be reduced if Williams’ earnings fell below an unspecified threshold, which she noted was the case when the entertainment industry veteran left her show in 2021.

“She continued to pay Mr. Hunter. “He states in his documents that… that he was paid until January 2022… As a result, (Kevin) was unjustly enriched by receiving an amount of $112,500 ($37,500 x 3 months) belonging to (Wendy),” Morrissey told the USA Sun reported this week.
