Pastor Mike Todd branded ‘false prophet’ after berating ex-employee for leaving church two years after rubbing spit on man’s face

Pastor Michael Todd of Transformation Church is once more gaining popularity from the pulpit. A spiritual leader from Tulsa, Oklahoma, known for his irritating Sunday messages, has come under fire for lewdly discussing the present state of his flock.

His remarks were re-shared from the week three sermon “Fresh Fruit – The Power of a Shared Vision” on February 18. This was the primary time he had spoken to his congregation in regards to the ramifications attributable to his 2022 illustration of trusting God’s vision in your life, even whenever you cannot see it together with your own eyes.

Todd found himself at the middle of controversy when he spit into his hand, rubbed it after which rubbed his secretion within the face of a parishioner who was standing on stage along with his eyes closed, much like the biblical story of Jesus giving a blind man the power to see.

In the re-published video, he said the incident led some worshipers and employees to depart his church. Todd said he exchanged screenshots with friends, revealing how others had disparaged him.

“People mainly wrote off every good thing I did due to one thing that wasn’t a sin. It was just disgusting. It was just disgusting. But I can consider many other things that you just all will do together with your saliva,” he said on the TV show, noting that he was unable to recite the words former church members wrote about him.

He further claimed that some who turned on him were “people I prayed for my children and personally gave them money when their homes were about to be foreclosed.”

Todd continued, “Seeing them podcasting about me, watching conferences of pastor friends I’ve created for, takes me away from the flyers. I say it’s okay now, but straight away I need to be real, but I didn’t feel good.

Still speaking of his steadfast faith, he continued: “I had been coming here for so many days and had no strength to do anything. Another worker just left. They only said “because God called them somewhere else.” After six years, you’ll be able to’t even tell me what the true reason is, but you subconsciously post on Instagram? I’m too real here. But it’s real.”

He issued a public apology in real time after facing backlash over the saliva fiasco. “I watched it again and it was disgusting. It was disgusting,” he said at the time. “I want to confirm everyone’s feelings that it was a distraction from what I was really trying to do. I really tried to make this word come alive and for people to see this story, but yesterday it became too vivid and I deserve it.”

However, his reception in February while on duty was viewed as “messy” “The whole congregation is a mess, lmao,” user X replied Post repeated fragments of the sermon. Others took issue not only with Todd’s behavior, but also with his overall appearance. “He turned Church into a Wendy Williams show, complete with chains, designer clothes and a crate of taco meat on display,” the article says comment.

Another compared him to the “false prophets” described within the biblical text. Someone else he noticed“Black pastors are likely to think that their members and staff must be loyal to the church constructing or leader. THIS IS NOT BIBLICAL! If he said he was leaving because God was calling him elsewhere, THAT IS REASON ENOUGH. Period! Serve and stop being a large number.

Todd and his wife Natalie have served as lead pastors of the church since 2015. The highschool sweethearts have been married for 14 years and have 4 children. Their faith-filled mission is to “reintroduce” God to the masses.
