‘He was upset with Steve’: Ed Lover confirms Bernie Mac told him Steve Harvey tried to undercut him to steal his role in ‘Ocean’s Eleven’

James Roberts, also generally known as former DJ Ed Lover, claims that the late Bernie Mac once told him that comedian Steve Harvey tried to steal his role in a movie.

Lover participated in an interview with “The Culture Club Uncensored” on April 2, and the DJ said that despite Mac’s success in Hollywood with “The Bernie Mac Show” and flicks like “Soul Men” and “Charlie’s Angeles,” the comedian never didn’t change.

He also confirmed what Mac told him about Harvey regarding his role in Ocean’s Eleven.

“My Boy… After Kings of Comedy, Bernie Never Changed” he said Lover. “Bernie didn’t let Hollywood or success or anything get to his head. He was always Mac Man.”

The 61-year-old added that Mac once told him that Harvey was in favor of his role in the 2001 film “Ocean’s Eleven,” after “Mr. The 3000 actor has already been forged. In an interview with GQ magazine, Mac accused Harvey of trying to steal his role in “Ocean’s Eleven” by telling producers he would make the film for less money. He also accused Harvey of being jealous of his fame, but Harvey denied the accusations.

Cedric The entertainer talked concerning the two comedians’ dispute during considered one of his performances appearance on “Club Shay Shay” in 2022.
