“Sherri” renewed for a third season
“Sherri” fans, rejoice! Sherri Shepherd’s daytime talk show is officially back for a third season, continuing to grace TV screens across the country.
“I am so excited to continue bringing joy, laughter and inspiration to our viewers,” Shepherd said in a statement obtained by Deadline. “I don’t take it for granted that people welcome me into their homes every day, and that’s why I greet them with ‘Hi, family!'”
“Thank you to Debmar-Mercury, FOX Television and all of our television partners who continue to support and trust my vision to bring fun and comedy to the daytime,” the statement continued. Shepherd tells viewers to “expect the unexpected!”
“Sherri” tapes live to a live audience at Chelsea Studios in New York. Nationally syndicated series have been approved for broadcast in greater than 95% of the United States, in line with the report
Since its premiere in 2022, the series has gained acclaim and a loyal audience, rating “second this season among all female presenters aged 25-54.” The series also won five NAACP Image Awards, 4 Daytime Emmy nominations and a People’s Choice nomination.
