Netflix releases animated trailer for ‘Good Times’ reboot.

Get ready for the new edition of “Good Times”. Netflix has just released the official trailer for the animated revival of the favored TV series of the identical name.

The series is being developed through Act III Productions, the corporate of TV icon Norman Lear – who developed the unique Maude spin-off within the Nineteen Seventies – together with Steph Curry’s Unanimous Media, Seth MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door and Sony Pictures Television, bringing the brand new, an updated tackle a classic.

According to officials, the brand new Netflix series follows “the latest generation of the Evans family, cab driver Reggie and his wife, the ever-aspiring Beverly, who live in one among Chicago’s last remaining housing projects together with their teenage artist son Junior, activist daughter Gray and drug dealer son Dalvin.”

According to the show synopsis: “Turns out the more things change, the more they stay the same, and keeping your head above the water in a knee-on-your-neck system is as difficult as ever. The only thing harder than life is love, but there is more than enough to do in this family.”

The series also features an all-star voice solid including JB Smoove (Reggie Evans), Yvette Nicole Brown (Beverly Evans), Jay Pharoah (Junior Evans), Marsai Martin (Grey Evans), Gerald “Slink” Johnson (Dalvin Evans) and Rashida “Sheedz” Olayiwola (Lashes by Lisa). Ranada Shepard is executive producer and showrunner.

The series trailer guarantees a much raunchier “Good Times” than the unique, which is less of an animated sitcom and more of an adult cartoon comedy. Featuring jokes and 18+ content, the R-rated trailer allows viewers to immerse themselves on the planet and atmosphere of the reboot.

All 10 episodes of Good Times shall be available on Netflix starting Friday, April 12.
