Diana Ross’ children celebrated her on social media on what would have been her 80th birthday

Recently, her children decided to rejoice her 80th birthday with sweet messages on social media, including her superstar daughter, Tracee Ellis Ross. “Oh how I love you, Mom,” actress Tracee Ellis Ross began within the caption of a post that included a slideshow of Diana Ross to the tune of her song “If We Hold On Together.” 80 amazing photos of you in 80 seconds to rejoice your 80th birthday today.” Ross continued to detail his mother’s implausible profession and life. “In 1977, she began an extremely successful, independent life as an artist, mother and black woman,” said Tracee Ellis Ross. She had an enormous, iconic profession on her shoulders, no manager, no partner, and, by the top of that decade, no mother or three little girls to lift.”

She continued: “In the midst of breaking records, shattering glass ceilings and setting a new bar for style and glamour, we, her children, have always been her priority,” she continued. “As I often say, Diana Ross, a beloved global icon, is legendary, but she doesn’t hold a candle to my mother.”

Her oldest daughter, Rhonda Ross Kendrick, also shared an lovable video of her and her mom on stage on Instagram. “Happy birthday mom!!! I love you more than words can express,” she wrote.

Her youngest child, Evan Ross, shared a sweet birthday message along with his mom Instagram next to endearing family photos and wrote: “Happy birthday MOM.”
