Touré drops bombing and claims relative fired after refusing to spend night at Diddy’s house
In the wake of multiple allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking, Sean Diddy Combs’ name has been dragged into a distinct but disturbing story about him by journalist and television personality Touré.
He claims one in every of his relatives was “suddenly” fired after he refused to stay overnight at one in every of the music mogul’s homes.
Touré appeared with Joy Reid on “The Reid Out” on March 26, where he told Reid that he asked the “Act Bad” artist to hire one in every of his members of the family as an intern, and Diddy agreed.
“I was personally concerned many years ago,” he said he said. “I know this man well enough to call him up and say, ‘Hey, I need a favor.’ And it could have been 10, 12 years ago. I called him and said, “Hey, I even have a member of the family I need you to hire as an intern.” And I never talked about it publicly. And he replied, “Yes.” And they flew around, one in every of the interns, Atlanta, Miami, whatever, on a jet, at home, whatever.
The journalist added that his relative’s internship ended “suddenly”, but his member of the family didn’t want to say why the internship ended so quickly.
“And then the internship ended abruptly, after about three or four months,” Touré continued. I asked my member of the family, “What happened?” And they didn’t want to tell.
“Years later, they finally came out – and this is a man – and said Puff said, ‘Come home and stay with me tonight or the internship will be over.’ And they said, “Absolutely not.” He said “absolutely not” and the internship ended.
Fans reacted to the interview on Instagram, with one fan noting what a daring decision Combs made to hire a relative of the journalist considering his alleged actions and lifestyle.
“Diddy was very brave to do this to a journalist’s family member.” he wrote fan. “He gave zero F.” He had avoided such things for many years. I’m very pleased that the postman all the time rings twice.”
Another fan he wrote“Damn…everyone can’t lie on Puff smfh.” Other fans applauded the member of the family for saying “no” although Combs had power over them.
“So happy that this person knew their worth and held themselves to those standards… and had the courage AND pride to say no,” they are saying he wrote. “That’s right! Say no and leave! Know your worth,” added one other.
The Department of Homeland Security seized phones, hard drives and other electronic equipment from Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles during agent raids on March 25. The 54-year-old was accused of trafficking his ex-girlfriend and artist, “Me & U” singer Cassie Ventura. He can be accused of drugging and raping a girl named Joi Dickerson-Neal in 1991 and two other women.
One Jane Doe claims that singer Aaron Hall and Combs forced her to have sex with one other woman, while the opposite Jane Doe claims that when she was 17 in 2003, Combs “gang raped” and “sex trafficked” her. Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr. he also claims that he woke up “naked, dizzy and disoriented” in bed with two prostitutes and a Bad Boy Records executive after being drugged by Combs.
No criminal charges have been filed to date, and Combs’ representatives released an announcement after raiding his homes and accusing law enforcement of using “military-level force.” His sons Justin Combs, 30, and Christian “King” Combs, 25, were handcuffed and held outside a Beverly Hills residence throughout the raid. Combs reportedly stayed in Miami and spoke with law enforcement, but was never arrested or detained.
Combs’ attorneys also said their client “is innocent” on this “witch hunt based on baseless accusations made in civil lawsuits.” “premature haste in passing judgment.”
“Mr. Combs has never been detained, but has spoken to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his members of the family have been arrested and their ability to travel has not been restricted in any way. This unprecedented ambush – combined with a sophisticated, coordinated media presence – leads to a premature rush to judgment in Mr. Combs’ case and is nothing greater than a witch hunt based on baseless accusations made in civil lawsuits. No criminal or civil liability has been established in reference to any of those allegations .Mr. Combs is innocent and will fight on daily basis to clear his name.”
Combs has not yet responded to Touré’s interview.
