The boys grow up before our eyes.

As we at all times say, celebrity children surround themselves with magic that permits them to be a toddler one minute and a youngster the next, all in the blink of a watch. That appears to be the case with Jennifer Hudson’s son, David Otunga Jr., who turned 14 during Leo’s season.

“Team Jhud, please help me wish my baby DOJ a very happy 14TH BIRTHDAY today!” the EGOT winner wrote on Instagram, together with a video of her singing “Happy Birthday” to a really tall teenager. “Wow, yes [sic] wow, I can not imagine I’m already 14 years old!!!! God is so good!!!! Time to rejoice!!! #proudmom.”

It looks like David celebrated his birthday with a celebration as his father, David Otunga Sr. shared a photograph of them smiling together next to an ornamental birthday cake.

She recently opened up about watching him grow and their developing relationship as the cover star of the latest issue.

“I used to hold your hand and take you to the park. It’s similar now,” she said. “We are thinking about it. And how do we exist in this new space?”

She also talked about the realities of raising a black boy in today’s society, which is just not easy in any respect.

“My son goes to a predominantly white school, he has huge hair and a full afro. He loves going there with a big old loser and a pickaxe in his hair. And I said, “Do you realize what you’re saying?” “Know that just wearing your hair like that is making a statement,” she said. “Being a mother of a black son, you have to make him realize certain things – who he is in the world. And there are so many layers he has to learn! But he’s at the age where he can fully understand it. And he has grown so much that I can’t imagine it.”

Another developed celebrity child who is not any longer actually a baby is Tisha Campbell’s son, Xen Martin. He recently turned 22, and his mom celebrated him with a sweet message on social media.

“You stole my heart from the first look in your eyes. I can not imagine it was 22 years ago,” wrote the actress. “Witnessing the form of person you might be amidst the various challenges you might have had to beat fills me with awe. I’m impressed by your kindness, perseverance, courage, support and caring. Xen, you might be the epitome of an incredible man and I really like you very much. The BEST of birthdays, my child.

The star’s eldest child was quite an inspiration. If you’ve got followed his story, you know that he didn’t let his autism stop him from living a full life, including getting accepted to the college of his dreams, getting his driver’s license, working multiple jobs, and overall living an independent life despite difficult circumstances. possibilities.

“My child wants to become an animal activist and will stay. He remains on the dean’s list and does not work two jobs because he wants to be independent from the silver spoon. They care less about labels, she said in 2020, when she received an acceptance letter to the school of her choice. “Xen, Mom’s goal was to make you as independent of me as possible. I wanted you to be able to survive without me. I never knew you would exceed my hopes for your future. You are an amazing man. Mommy loves you with all her heart and soul. You and your brother are everything to me. Thank you for choosing me to be your vessel.”

Campbell also has a son, Ezekiel, 13, and each young men are from her marriage to Duane Martin, which formally resulted in 2020.

We are so pleased to see young David and Xen thriving! We still cannot come to terms with the undeniable fact that they don’t seem to be little boys anymore, however it’s actually great to see them growing up so well. Kudos to their parents!
