Regardless of age, black women can exude grace, elegance and confidence. In the re-revealed video, an elderly woman named Lorraine effortlessly embodies these qualities.

The Chicago-area event designer originally posted the clip in December 2022. It looks like the high-energy celebration took place at a local Marriott hotel. In the video, the birthday girl enters the room with a cane as the crowd applauds and cheers. She wears a platinum gray pixie hairstyle, hoop earrings, kitten heels and gold bell bottoms.

“When you’re 90…yes, I said Nine and then Zero. THIS is how you walk so your guests can celebrate you!! It was so much fun organizing this event for my client!” @20pearlsparty wrote on Instagram.

The theme of the party was white and gold, and Lorraine wore an outfit that completely matched. Her cake consisted of gold-dusted roses with the number “90” on top. A number of sweets were placed on the sweet table for guests to enjoy.

The video, which features Deion Sanders’ “Give Me My Theme Music” playing in the background, has been shared across multiple social media platforms. It has received over 22 million views on Instagram alone. It was republished this week on X.

People in the comments praised Lorraine’s confidence and attitude, saying it inspires them to proceed celebrating themselves as they grow old. Others sent her well wishes as she entered a recent chapter.

“Beautiful! She looks like a goddess! Happy 90th birthday! I pray God blesses you with great health,” wrote one user.

Another person added: “She walks it lol. “It’s a pure blessing because many people don’t live to be 90.”

“God really blessed her. I’m aging so young! You look wonderful, queen. May God continue to bless you and your family! Yasss, baby, walk, walk!” said the user.
