KeyTV network, the digital platform founded by Emmy-winning actress and powerhouse Keke Palmer, will debut a brand new scripted series starring singer-songwriter Jane Handcock. Today, the trailer for the series premiered online.
Set within the Bay Area, the story delves into Handcock’s complex dating life. As an emerging artist navigating the music industry, she faces challenges balancing her profession and private relationships. The series guarantees a combination of humor, relatable situations and poignant challenges, interspersed with original music created by the star himself.
“With , we are ready to bring a fresh perspective on coming-of-age stories for Black women in 2024,” said Palmer, the series’ executive producer. “We wanted to create a series that viewers could relate to when it comes to the ups and downs of dating, but also had atmosphere with a completely original soundtrack. Myariah Summers brings her own authentic sound and fun perspective, and we know people will love her and the related stories. We’re giving up the entire season so everyone can watch, share and talk together because it’s definitely a conversation starter.”
