Tamar Braxton’s forty seventh birthday is fast approaching, and the singer is struggling to manage with the aging that happened two years ago.

On the second anniversary of Traci Braxton’s death earlier this week, Tamar took to X to share how heartbreaking it has been since her sister’s premature death.

The first in a series of texts read: “Logan doesn’t have school today and my body is up anyway. I just want to sleep tonight, Lord.”

Just a few hours later, she returned to the platform and wrote: “I hate today. I just want to sleep and emotionally eat all day long.

Traci had been battling esophageal cancer for at least a year before her death. She died on March 12, 2022 at the age of 50. Internet users often confused the two in family photos with the other Braxton sisters.

Shortly after, a fan asked Tamar what she planned to do for her birthday on Sunday, March 17.

Tamar wrote on Twitter: “I don’t want to do ANYTHING for my birthday!?? Celebrate my life when my sister lost hers??? I don’t even feel good.

Fans tried to ask what happened and why she responded like this: “It’s not you. I know it was a reaction to trauma, but you are so much better than this. She responded on the social media platform: “Fuck her! Yes it is!!”

Social media users suggested that the “Love & War” singer was honoring her sister with the best life she could have.

“You know Trac would want you to enjoy your upcoming birthday, Tamar, you know she’s smiling down on you” – one person he wrote.

“I’ll tell you this! She would want you to celebrate life and continue to celebrate her,” one other person he said. “You have a responsibility to keep that love alive. Don’t punish yourself for feeling sad. Come to Traci, cry about it, but do things together that made you happy. She is with you.

But Tamar didn’t care and nothing could pierce her pain. The “Changed” singer wrote: “You all are doing too much on social media. I’ve been suffering since Friday!!!! Why would you make fun of the fact that my sister is gone because she is DEAD!! Oh my God, I hate people.

Yet people understand the mother of their own pain.

Tamar isn’t the only person who has applauded someone online over Traci’s death.

One person wrote on her sister Trina’s page: “Traci is not dead.” This triggered her, prompting her to say “Fuck you” and “Get the fuck off my page” on Instagram Live.

She then said, “Fuck you… Don’t follow me, don’t ever talk to me and go the f**k away. Don’t follow me or talk to me ever again in your life. Thank you.”

According to Tamar, Traci knew her death was coming and planned to serve her.

“The celebration of life, as you saw, was not really a celebration of life. It was actually her heavenly birthday. My sister was very particular and didn’t want a funeral. She didn’t want anything that would make everyone sad,” Tamar said on Dish Nation.

Toni Braxton also shared a tribute writing“I still can’t believe you’re not here with us. I miss you so much, Traci. Another sister, Trina Braxton, added, “Still unreal. I love you forever.”

The Braxton family has been mourning for some time. In addition to losing Traci, they also lost Lauren Braxton.

Lauren, Michael Braxton Jr.’s daughter, died in April 2019. The 24-year-old, who had a heart condition, died of a heroin overdose and fentanyl poisoning.

Fans continue to send Tamar positive and uplifting comments during this difficult time. After releasing a new single on March 15, one person in X he said, “We noticed you, Tay. Whenever! Thank you very much for sharing this with us. One of the greatest singers of this life.”
