“X-Men ’97” creator, showrunner Beau DeMayo fired before premiere

Beau DeMayo, the creator of the upcoming Disney+ series “X-Men ’97,” has been fired. According to Hollywood reporter, the showrunner parted ways with Marvel and Disney just last week.

The upcoming animated series is scheduled to premiere later this month and will probably be a sequel to the long-lasting Nineties animated series “X-Men.” According to the web site, DeMayo was preparing to advertise the series to the press, had “completed his writing duties” for the show’s second season, and was even planning to seem on the series’ Hollywood premiere on Wednesday.

The report states that the show’s solid and crew have been informed of his departure and his company email has been deactivated. DeMayo’s various social media accounts, including Instagram, have been deleted.
