Cord Jefferson is a talented author and tv producer known for his work on series similar to “Watchmen” and “Succession.” On Sunday night on the 2024 Academy Awards, Jefferson won his first Oscar for adapting “American Fiction.” We caught up with the author/director on the red carpet to debate his path to directing his first film.
