Ashanti’s mom accidentally confirmed the singer’s pregnancy while trying to close the comment “Congratulations”

Ashanti’s mother, Tina Douglas, can have let the cat out of the bag by pseudo-confirming that her celebrity daughter will probably be having a “baby, baby, baby” along with her boyfriend Nelly.

Pregnancy rumors have been circulating since the couple reconciled after 10 years of separation. Last Memorial Day, a video surfaced on social media showing the “Country Grammar” rapper’s surprise appearance at Ashanti’s performance with Ja Rule. The pair danced close together, prompting speculation that she was hiding her baby bump.

Then, around Thanksgiving and Christmas, a photograph of a St. Patrick resident appeared. Louis caressing the New York singer’s belly and the rumors began again.

Now that her mom and manager were on the panel at JITG Musicfest 17^vol Simply’s annual Women’s Impact Luncheon on Friday, March 8 saw renewed discuss the “Say Less” recording artist having a baby.
