During the first week of March, stars focused more on their signature looks, rediscovering the details they’re known for – and had all the time to point out us how they would love to be perceived. Between Billboard awards, Time’s Gala and Fashion Week, we twice chosen the most essential beauty moments to steer our inspiration for the weekend. From Tems braided Bantu knots to Taraji P. Henson lace eyeshadows, our Instagram feed has grow to be a walking mood board this week.

Fashion month has its final stage in Paris, make-up artist Harold James had a busy week, beating out the appearances of front row invitees Adut Akech, Sabrina Elba and Tina Kunakey. First for Balenciaga, Akech wore mocha lips and silver eyeshadow; then James moved the coma to red Byredo liquid matte lipstick for the appearance of Copernia Elba; finally, in Sacai, Kunakey combined delicately fanned bangs with neutral poreless makeup.

We noticed that Kelela had quite a couple of posts about her signature pale eyebrows, shaved head, and brown, liquid lips. Meanwhile, consequently of her experiments, Saweetie donned a fun candy blue wig with matching stiffened umbrellas on her eyelashes. As the week progressed, the matte makeup didn’t fade from model Aweng Chuol, who powdered her under-eyes with highlighter, ending with a soft, businesslike makeup look by Pat McGrath’s team on Aoki Lee Simmons.
