February is a special month for our community; it is a time after we have a good time our black culture, heritage and wealthy history. Some major retailers are attempting their best to focus on Black history. But not everyone does their homework on the subject of the small print. This month, Target stores will stop selling a product celebrating civil rights icons after a viral TikTok user found several unusual errors. Three civil rights icons were mislabeled on the tutorial toy: Carter G. Woodson, WEB DuBois and Booker T. Washington. A TikTok user, a US history teacher at a Las Vegas highschool, mentioned: “This incident highlights the importance of checking products before making them available to consumers, which would help avoid such harmful mistakes in the future.”
