Olamide Olowe is making history in the cosmetics industry with the Topicals brand –
Olamide Olowe has change into a game-changing entrepreneur since she entered the world of beauty with her popular brand Topicals. The CEO and founding father of a skincare company is making history by reaching recent heights with successful rounds of equity financing.
According to Olow fired brand in 2020, providing $2.6 million in enterprise capital to expand its reach. With investments supporting high-quality products, the brand continued to lift the bar, becoming the fastest-growing skincare brand sold at Sephora in 2022. Olowe shared her blossoming entrepreneurial journey with: BLACK ENTERPRISES‘s Sisters Inc. in 2021. She is well aware of the obstacles, but notes how vital various investors and even black mentors were to her development.
“I wanted as many people who looked like me to participate in the round,” Olowe said. “First, because we would like to extend the wealth of the black community. But secondly, because they, like me, have dealt with these skin conditions and dealt with being an outsider… To change into great, you could have to surround yourself with great people.
