Exclusive Los Angeles viewing party at ESSENCE Fest

To kick off the primary weekend of our Essence Cultural Festival presented by Coca-Cola, we invited some special friends to rise up close and private with virtual evening concert performances in Los Angeles. For the primary time ever, ESSENCE has brought the NOLA experience – our second home is actually the Crescent City – to Hollywood with a collaboration between Lena Waithe’s Hillman Grad and Charles S. King’s MACRO, two of the most important production firms creating content we won’t get enough of.

Attendees were treated to New Orleans-inspired refreshments and drinks, and more importantly, they were assured of their safety as EFOC performances – including performances by Jazmine Sullivan, Tank and Lucky Daye – were broadcast throughout the venue. Guests included small screen stars including Miriam A. Hyman, star Jonica T. Gibbs, Kareem J. Grimes, star Laila Odom, Jean Elie, in addition to celebrity stylists Wayman and Micah (Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald) and Founder Buttah Skin, Dorion Renaud.
