Democratic representatives react to the rep. Al Green

The democratic representative of Al Green is in business, and other democrats in the House of Representatives stand with him.
At the starting of this week, Green bravely moved, interrupting President Trump’s speech to a joint session of the Congress. The decision, which eventually led to its removal, was a response to the seemingly false declaration of Trump’s mandate for cutting Medicare.
“I told him that there was no mandate to cut Medicare,” Green said ABC News A moment after it’s removed. “If there is a punishment, I accept a punishment. It is not about me, it is about people who will suffer if Medicaid is cut off if social insurance is cut off. We need to raise a social insurance hat, we must protect Medicare, and for divine love, do not cross Medicaid, it’s for poor people. ”
Today, the House of Representatives voted in favor of Green censorship for his or her actions on Tuesday evening. For those that have no idea the political term, censorship is a proper sign of disapproval from the Chamber, perceived as a disciplinary motion against members of disordered behavior. Censorship is taken into account a second harsh type of penalty for members of the Chamber, with the worst use.
“Mr.. Speaker and I still get up”, Green he said on the floor of the house, before voting in Cenza. “I still have a proud, liberated democrat, undamaged, deprived and not afraid.”
After the vote, democratic representatives reminiscent of Rep. Ayanna Pressley and Rep. Rashida Tlaib, stood in the center of the floor of the house, singing the hymn of civil rights “we will defeat” According to ABC News.
“We know that we have seen (far -right representative)) Marjorie (Taylor Greene) screams at Joe Biden. There was no indignation. Nothing. So there should be no indignation today, “said Rep. Jasmine Crockett
In an interview with HuffPost, Crockett shared, “I think people lose the context of who Al Green is. Al Green is an older black man who is steeped in a movement for civil rights. And so for someone who grew up and saw people bloody and weakened, knowing that this was the needle. And I think that what we saw is someone who says: “We have made so many progress. I’m not going to sit here on a privileged perch and just say it’s okay. ”
Censructure or not, Green is behind his actions.
“I followed the wishes of conscience,” said Green. “There are moments when it is better to stand alone than not standing at all … At some point we will all have to get up.”
