“The Family Business: New Orleans” brings a big drama to the great easy – essence
Drama fans, select your calendars for a very expected spin-off series, will happen on January 23, 2025, with a double-section debut only on Bet+. After the premiere, one episode will fall every week, leading to an exciting final on Thursday, March 6.
The series, set on the background of the living but dangerous streets of Nowy Orlean, introduces a latest branch of Duncan’s genealogical tree. Known for her iconic Night Club, The Midnight Blues, the family is caught in a network of corruption, turf wars and crimes threatening their heritage. When the rates grow to be too high, they call their New York family to support, promising a familiar type of justice.

Star forged includes Brandon T. Jackson as a marquis, kidnapping son Big Shirley Duncan (Lela Rochon), who runs the north of Blues. Pochach Hall presents Floyd, a stylish and protective brother of Big Shirley, while Benjamin Stephens will face Curtis, a hunter of prizes drawn into the conflict way more dangerous than expected. Quincy Brown, David Banner, Yvette Nicole Brown and Orlando Jones complement the team, everyone adds intrigue, romance and drama to the mix.
