It seems that you just really put your name on the NBA map after being a part of each night this weekend. What did the whole All-Star all this weekend mean for you?

It seems to me that it was a really successful All-Star weekend to have the opportunity to participate for all three days, get my name and have an awesome show. I won the rising MVP stars, it was a part of the Dunk competition and I played against a few of my favorite players to look at growth. It was a funny weekend for me. I’m glad with the whole exhibition and so on. But it was definitely great.

How would you describe this season for you, from the fourth selection in 2024 NBA Draft to the debutant of the yr, who played an integral role at the All-Star weekend?

If you told me a yr ago that I can be on this position, I might probably not consider you. But I feel that I just got used to the whole work I put and faith in God. And thank God for all these possibilities. It’s only a blessing.

Coach Spurs Gregg Popovich took an indefinite vacation in November 2024 on a mild stroke. How much did you meet him in such a short while? How was his departure influenced?

Me and the trainer combined in a short time. I remember after I practiced with Spurs before (NBA Draft), before the project, all this. So he was considered one of the first guys who approached me and talked to me one on one. So when he left it definitely hurt. But I do know he’s doing higher now. I’m glad that he’s doing well.

What did you learn from Chris Paul?

Not taking the whole lot an excessive amount of on my mind (state). When I make mistakes when I even have bad games, not being too difficult for myself. Understanding that I’m a debutant (errors) should occur. Simply using every game as a occasion and lesson.

What is the best in the game with Victor Wembanyama?

How much attention attracts. It simply opens the court for everybody. It may be very versatile. He is an incredible passerby. This is considered one of the most underestimated parts of his game. So, to be a screen for him, you’ll be able to put him anywhere on the pitch and I feel that it’s going to develop, being offensive and defensive for us.

Did you’re thinking that you can be exchanged for Sacramento or elsewhere, when it became clear that Fox wanted to return to San Antonio?

Not really. I definitely saw (rumors) and the whole lot. But I actually focused on the game. San Antonio is absolutely home culture. They brought me and told me things that I feel that each debutant would really like to listen to, especially in the first yr. So, entering the trade, not quite …

I felt that I felt that they wanted me to be a part of something they were pressing, and definitely made me feel good.

How do you and Fox coexist?

This is my guy. Me and he joined as soon as he arrived here. I like fidgeting with D-Fox. SUPER FAST. I wish to play a lot. Super selfless. He can get a bucket while you need it. Yes, he’s an excellent cool and great guy outside the pitch.

You accomplished the second in the Slam Dunk competition for Mac McClung. Looking back, was there anything you’ll do in another way?

Since then, I thought of it truthfully. I felt that my third charge may very well be 50, but I understand that it’s 49. But if I just did it for the first time, I might probably have a bonus.

Spurs have a 23-29 record and are in the twelfth place in the Western Conference. With Fox, now on the list, where do Spurs go from here for the remainder of the season?

We use a break to take into consideration the good and evil that we did before the All-Star break and to repair just a few things before we attempt to make pressure.

What did you discover out about the NBA you didn’t know before arriving?

How much free time will we get beyond basketball. I discover a hobby. I’m obsessive about basketball. I watch basketball all day. Of course play. When I am going to video, I probably play NBA2K. So I’m surrounded by basketball throughout the day. So sometimes I find a distinct hobby that I could undress with it.

Have you already invented San Antonio?

A bit, yes. This is an actual, peaceful city in comparison with Atlanta. So San Antonio in comparison with this really calm, real cool, really quiet. So I like the city. This may be very nice.
