Gregory Case and his son, Brandon Case, considered the incident in the Lincoln Court. Two men allegedly shot Gibson when he worked for Fedex, providing packages on his delivery route. Both men were accused of attempting to murder, conspiracy and shooting a motorcar at the incident of January 2022.
On January 6, the judge of the District Court in Mississippi David Strong suggested that the state prosecutors had committed “intentional mistakes” that violated the rights of the case and announced the full release of all allegations with prejudices.
“After conducting the hearing and review of the documentation and all letters, the court states that investigators in the case deliberately suspended the evidence from the defense and even from the District Prosecutor, on many occasions, which caused gross violations of the state’s discovery by the state,” “the Order of Strong says. “These repetitive intentional errors constitute a transparent violation of the provisions of criminal proceedings, in addition to recognized case -law, justifying the rejection of the indictment with prejudice.”
The exemption in January 2025 appeared on the same day on which again began again, because the first process ended with an error on August 17, 2023.
Judge Strong agreed that detective Fernando’s testimony regarding the finding of weapons at the house of one of the accused and his claim of discovering covers on the spot, which after the event was contrary to the video intelligence from Gibson. The continuation of the trial would violate the “right to a” rapid trial “and would put them on a” double threat “.
Gibson shared photos of holes in his delivery truck until February 2022. The cases were accused in November 2022, 11 months after the incident. Brandon Case lawyer, Dan Kitchens and lawyer Gregory Case, Terrell Stubbs, refused to comment on the case.
