Chrissy Teigen could also be married to Grammy-winning singer John Legend, but that doesn’t mean she knows all of his songs.

The model recently admitted to creating the “whoopise doopsie” mistake on Instagram after showing love for her husband during their “A John Legend Christmas” holiday tour.

In a December 5 post, Teigen shared several photos she took from a concert she attended with friends, wearing a brief bob hairstyle paired with a black dress and matching heels.

However, the last slide within the four-slide carousel was a screenshot of Teigen’s Google search results for the song “When We Fly” — which she had just learned was originally sung by her husband.

In the caption, she further explained that she “came on stage completely blind” but enjoyed the evening of Legend performing “old favorites, slow dancing with a fan (I once got really jealous when he did this 15 years ago and I flew right into a rage at what it’s embarrassing!!!) and naturally numerous Christmas cheer.”

Teigen then shared how she made a mistake describing the evening. “He actually did a song that I liked a lot that I googled who sang it, and he also has just a few covers. It seems… it’s him.

In her humorous tone, Teigen sarcastically snapped at anyone who might judge her for not immediately recognizing the song.

“Whoopsie doosie I haven’t gotten to the whole baby album yet, ok!!???” – she continued. “But I listened yesterday and oh, it’s just so beautiful. I also love “safe.” But I really like so many. I take heed to all of it day now. “I’m an adult.”

Fans reacted to Teigen’s faux pas within the comments of her post.

One person wrote: “I love flying, I cry every time.”

A second said: “It’s a total vibe Chrissy googles who’s singing the song and it happens to be John.”

A 3rd person commented: “Googling this song and finding it belongs to your husband is amazing. If I turn out to be a wife someday, I need to be such as you.

Overall, the mother of 4 appeared to benefit from the event. Her first two photos show her all dolled up, wearing a black mini dress with a bow on her shoulder. The third photo was taken selfie-style by a friend who took a bunch photo of Teigen and others within the audience.

Showing her support for her husband, she said: “If John’s Christmas show is coming to your town, you have to go. I went there completely blind and oh, it’s just adorable.”

There was also a moment of reminiscing for Teigen, who said, “Lots of old favorites, slow dancing with a fan (I once got really jealous when he did this 15 years ago and I flew into a rage, how embarrassing!!!) and of course lots of Christmas cheer.”

Legend was apparently left speechless as he replied to his wife’s post with 4 heart emojis. However, he didn’t admit that Teigen didn’t know his song.

The “All of Me” singer has at the least seven other members performances before Christmas arrives, and his next performance shall be December 8 in Seattle.
