Let’s hope that is Scottie Pippen’s first and last try as a recruiter.

The legendary Chicago Bulls forward recently sparked outrage amongst fans with a social media post that suddenly suggested that tech and finance tycoon Elon Musk might resign from his iconic Nineties Chicago Bulls teams.

On Saturday, November 30, Pippen asked a bizarre, hypothetical query on his X account: “How many championships would we win with @ElonMusk?” The post included an AI-generated photo of Musk wearing his No. 13 Bulls jersey while running on the court.

As expected, the tweet was not well received by fans of the famous NBA team. X users used the post as a green flag to tug Pippen over every thing from his failed marriage to his complicated relationship with former teammate Michael Jordan.

“I understand why your life has been ruined over the last 20 years,” he said one followerwhile one other sarcastically he stated that Pippen could possibly be “the first NBA player with CTE.”

The conversation also touched on Pippen’s tumultuous marriage to ex-wife Larsa Pippen. In November 2018, the couple ended their 21-year marriage. At the time of filing, Larsa stated that the pair had “many amazing memories together” and “remain best friends and love each other very much.” While it sounded sweet, the consequences of their divorce became lasting as Larsa was seen on the streets having fun with the only life with rapper Future before starting a relationship with Marcus Jordan, the son of her ex-husband’s longtime teammate.

“Future and Marcus Jordan took this man real bad.” he was joking one user X. Another person he said his ex-wife should have finished him off. “Larsa should have cheated on you more.” While one other went straight to the jugular round the corner replying“I’m glad Future fucked your wife.”

The X users it also opened up an old wound of Pippen all the time missing out on Michael Jordan’s glory, whether through his own fault or just being overshadowed by “Air Jordan.”

“I’m glad MJ gave you terrible, lifelong uncertainty and I hope you never get over it,” one person said.

Pippen’s bitterness over his sporadic court relationship with Jordan became an enormous narrative following the success of the documentary “The Last Dance,” which Pippen said was told only from the perspective of Jordan’s celebration. The 59-year-old later told his side of the story in his extensive memoir, “Unguarded.”

In the book, Pippen detailed his true feelings about playing alongside Jordan for over 10 seasons. “I was just a prop. “Greatest teammate ever,” he called me. He couldn’t be more condescending if he tried,” Pippen wrote.

Followers too called he dismissed Pippen’s post, likely for ulterior motives outside of basketball. Some have suggested that the strange post could possibly be linked to Pippen’s recent interest in cryptocurrencies, as he has been promoting his own currency on social media.

Although Pippen laughed and even he claimed to “follow” his favorite comments, he didn’t provide a transparent explanation or justification for the post.

“You’re all funny. I follow my favorite comments,” he wrote, even though it is unclear whether he followed anyone.
