Hugh Jackman’s scandalous affair with a Broadway star may have cost him the holidays with his children
It could possibly be a lonely Christmas for actor Hugh Jackman.
The “Wolverine” star hoped to spend a while with his children for the holidays, but since the controversy surrounding his rumored affair with fellow Broadway star Sutton Foster revealed that his ex-wife Deborra Lee Furness shouldn’t be ready, in keeping with reports from the recent claim report.
According to Women’s Day (Australia), this was the case he said by an alleged insider: “Hugh and Sutton would love to see their kids for the holidays, but it’s still awkward and Hugh is aware that he respects Deb’s feelings.”
“It will take longer for loved ones to adjust to the new normal, which means Hugh and Sutton are preparing for much less time together over the holidays than they would like.”
The alleged source also claims that Furness continues to be dealing with some hard feelings after Jackman filed for divorce last 12 months. They each would do it famous they celebrated their twenty eighth wedding anniversary in April.
An insider said: “Deb feels like Hugh hasn’t properly acknowledged the pain he’s caused by moving on so quickly.”
“She gave so much of herself in their marriage, personally and professionally. It’s not just about healing – it’s about respect.”
While curiosity about the romance continues to grow, it seems that Jackman and Furness’ children, Oscar and Ava, are dealing with the news as best as possible. “They just want peace and happiness for his or her parents. But they’re definitely aware of the tension,” the source said.
Fans reacted to the report on the Daily Mail website. One person wrote: “It depends on their children who are already adults. Bad luck, Hugh! You’ve made your bed, now sleep in it!”
Oscar is 24 and their daughter Ava is nineteen, so one fan said, “His kids are adults now so they can make their own decisions.”
One more person commented, “Betrayal has consequences, and one of them is respect within the family.”
On the other hand, Jackman and Foster are reportedly having fun with their recent romance.
Sources near Foster he said Us Weekly on November 12: “Sutton and Hugh’s relationship is the reason for Hugh and Deb’s divorce. Many people on Broadway knew about it and we kept it a secret because they are both very nice and wonderful people. Everyone respected their privacy. But there was romance and overlap.”
The source added: “They are really happy now.”

There have been whispers and rumors about their relationship since the two recently worked together in the Broadway revival of Meredith Willson’s The Music Man. While on stage, co-hosts Jackman and Foster must have spent quite a little bit of time together as they began their 2021 preview shows and ended with their final show prolonged to January 2023.
However, until October 2023, Foster was married to “Ocean’s Eleven” screenwriter Ted Griffin. In April 2017, they adopted a daughter together, Emily Dale Griffin.
They were together for a decade before Foster filed for divorce in October of this 12 months – just over a 12 months after Jackman filed for divorce from Furness.
For now, neither Jackman nor Foster has confirmed that the rumors about their romance are true. But Furness almost confirmed it when a gossip blogger reported on the Broadway stars’ secret affair.
In October, gossip blogger Tasha Lustig told her social media followers: “Friends, do you remember when I told you that this man was up to no good, that he had cheated on his wife and run away with his lover. It looks like they want to bring it to market in paperback form now.”
She claimed that Furness would “light up” her shortly after the divorce because she liked a post from a private account. Her close media friend, Amanda de Cadenet, further confirmed these rumors by commenting on the post.
Cadenet wrote: “@tashalustig, in this case you are right. FYI, my lovely friend Deb will be glowing anytime!”
