“Borderlands” premiered in U.S. theaters on August 9. The film grossed only $33 million worldwide against a production budget of $110 to $120 million.

Rotten Tomatoes even harshly criticized “Borderlands,” giving the film a rating 51 percent rating on Popcornmeter. on a review aggregation website.

“It was a complete waste of a talented cast, a reasonable (if ordinary) premise, and tons of dollars in poor CGI. What was Eli Roth thinking???” wrote one Rotten Tomatoes user.

Another critical review reads: “There wasn’t a single original or clever line on this script that was terrible. All the actors are on autopilot. Especially Cate Blanchett, who clearly doesn’t care.”

Someone specifically mentioned Kevin Hart’s involvement in “Borderlands,” suggesting that the comedian “shouldn’t have gotten involved.”

While comments have denigrated “Borderlands” as a “knock-off” of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise, there have also been positive reactions.

“Lift” began streaming on Netflix on January 12. Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sam Worthington and Vincent D’Onofrio also appeared in the film directed by F. Gary Gray.

Hart’s critical and business crisis in the film world comes as the Internet continues to query his connection to accused 54-year-old music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

On September 17, federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York charged Diddy with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges.

US. Defense attorney Damian Williams has accused the Bad Boy Entertainment founder of sexually abusing, abusing and threatening women between 2008 and 2024 as part of a “criminal enterprise.”

According to prosecutors, Diddy allegedly hosted and recorded “bizarre” events that included sexual abuse and violence. Following the indictment, footage of Hart at Diddy’s 2010 album release party resurfaced.

“When you could have a scene like this, you could have to bring your bosses with you. As you’ll be able to see, it’s female-friendly,” Hart said in a livestream video from Diddy’s party.

The “Wild ‘n Out” alum continued: “We have a girl, she is bald (naked). That’s what I call it. Raw dog. I’ll just jump into the bathtub myself.

Hart recently dodged questions on Diddy while hanging out with his wife Eniko Hart in West Hollywood, California. October 2 “Entertainment Tonight” uploaded a video to YouTube showing a public exchange between the paparazzo and Kevin.

“When you hosted for Diddy, did you grab any baby oil?” – the cameraman asked Kevin Hart. He replied, “When did I host for Diddy? You’re asking the incorrect person the incorrect query. This is not a very good query.
