Demi Moore’s News on Ex-Husband Bruce Willis’ Dementia Leaves Fans Claiming His Current Wife is Silent

Demi Moore could also be crossing a line within the face of fans who’ve begun to query her involvement in Bruce Willis’ life.

The “Die Hard” actor has been affected by frontotemporal dementia (FTD) for a 12 months. In 2022, he was diagnosed with aphasia, a cognitive disorder, which led to his retirement. The FTD diagnosis got here six months later.

The public became aware of his health problems when the family released an announcement to the Frontotemporal Degeneration Association in February 2023. Since then, Moore has been asked recurrently concerning the progression of the disease. Most recently on the 2024 Hamptons International Film Festival on October 13.

She was ready to simply accept the award for her profession as an actress, but she used a few of her time on stage to speak about Bruce.

“You know, I’ve said it before. The disease is what the disease is. “I think you have to really deeply accept what it is,” the “GI Jane” actress said, adding, “But given his current situation, he’s stable.”

The public wouldn’t have regular insight into the actress’ condition if Moore didn’t need to speak about her ex-husband. The first couple was married for 13 years once they divorced in 2000.

They are the parents of three adult daughters: Rumer, Scout and Tallulah. In 2009, he married his second wife, Emma Heming Willis. They are the parents of two young daughters, Mabel and Evelyn.

Moore further stated, “I at all times encourage you to only meet them where they’re. When you hold on to what was, I feel that is a game you lose” and “if you show up to satisfy them where they’re, there is great beauty and sweetness in them.”

Her update comes weeks after reports suggested the family was preparing for the “inevitable.” An alleged insider told Radar Online in September, “They wonder if he’ll even make it to his 70th birthday,” which is March 19.

However, not everyone is joyful with Moore’s news that Bruce is stable; as a substitute, just a few need to hear from Emma.

An Instagram user commented critically American weekly post: “She’s not even his wife anymore. Apparently they are all friends and well-adjusted, but it seems that he or his current wife should discuss this matter publicly if warranted.” While a second user commented: “Shouldn’t his wife be updating the world, how weird.”

However, the co-founder of Make Time Wellness is not silent on this matter. Emma’s commitment to Bruce led her to grow to be a supporter of FTD, and far of her social media presence was dedicated to posts concerning the condition.

In September, she attended the 14th International Conference on Frontotemporal Dementia, and in a heartfelt video to followers, she delivered a permanent message: “We are all in this together.”

Emma has consistently advocated for awareness, research and resources for families affected by this disease since Bruce’s diagnosis. Many people got here to her defense when critics tried to slam her for not reporting updates to the media.

“He actually does a lot,” one such comment reads. Another example of individuals gathered in her corner stated, “She’s helping her kids accept it. I admire her and his current wife for behaving this way.”

The motion star is rarely seen in her posts, with the newest being a photograph of the couple kissing on the lips in her June 27 birthday post. “Bruce would call it my ‘birthday month.’ So we must have fun!” she wrote.

She previously paid tribute to him on Father’s Day with a carousel of photos featuring him and his five daughters – Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel and Evelyn – through the years.
The post was concurrently shared on Instagram by Demi and her three eldest daughters.
