Steve Harvey’s birthday post to ‘Queen’ Marjorie has trolls adding to the cheating rumors that almost destroyed their marriage
Steve Harvey took to social media to congratulate his wife Marjorie Harvey on her sixtieth birthday. However, identical to in 2023, his loving messages were met with responses to the infidelity rumors affecting the Harvey household.
On October 10, the comedian and host posted a brief video on Instagram of himself kissing Marjorie repeatedly as they posed for the camera. Tony! Toni! The 1993 hit “Anniversary,” a top 10 Toné! song, played in the background.
Harvey described his own post“Happy 60th birthday, my love @marjorie_harvey,” and added a face-kissed emoji to publicly express his feelings for his wife.
Fans also celebrated Marjorie, with one person saying: “Ommmmggg. Happy 60th birthday Mrs. @marjorie_harvey. God knows you are absolutely stunning and you don’t look over 30!!”

Additionally, user X praised Steve for maintaining his partnership with Marjorie after 17 years of marriage. The the person stated“You kept the faith, now you’re burning together with your wife. You won, man! Happy birthday, mom.
However, several people have focused on the cheating allegations that have plagued Steve and Marjorie’s relationship for the past yr. One X post read“Are you happy that God gave you someone who cheats on you?”
Second person sent“You’ll do anything for her and she’ll still cheat on you.” Yet a 3rd person he asked“Is she the one who cheated on you? With her bodyguard, right?
In August 2023, speculation began to spread online that Marjorie had been cheating on Steve along with his bodyguard and private chef. These adultery whispers resulted in each Harveys speaking publicly about the rumors.
“My husband and I usually don’t stop to respond to all the bullshit and lies they spread about us,” Marjorie wrote on Instagram in August 2023.
She continued: “To whom much is given, much is required. I understand that my platform comes with a certain responsibility to those who may not be as strong as us.”
Harvey also subtly dismissed cheating rumors involving his wife and bodyguard. The “Think Like a Man” actor downplayed the allegations during an appearance at InvestFest 2023.
“I’m fine. Marjorie is fine,” Steve told the InvestFest Atlanta audience. “I do not know what you are doing, but find something else to do because we’re superb. Lord have mercy. Although I sure wish I could curse.
Steve first met Marjorie at a Memphis comedy club in 1990, but their courtship ended after a couple of weeks. They met again over a decade later, which eventually led to their wedding on June 25, 2007.
Ironically, Steve credits his longtime bodyguard with helping him reconnect with Marjorie, with whom he eventually reconciled after two failed marriages to Marcia Harvey from 1981 to 1994 and Mary Shackelford from 1996 to 2005.
“He told me, ‘Listen, the only time I saw you glad was once you were with that woman Marjorie. Now, before you do something silly and marry one other woman, I’m going to call her,” Steve said of his bodyguard in a May 2016 interview with the magazine People.
Although they don’t have any children together, their blended family has seven children. Marcia gave birth to Steve’s twin daughters, Brandi and Karli, in addition to his son Broderick. Mary is the mother of Steve’s son, Wynton.
Marjorie has three children from two previous relationships. Her first marriage to Jim Townsend produced a son, Jason, and a daughter, Morgan. Marjorie’s second husband, Donnell Woods, is the father of influencer and model Lori Harvey.
The “Kings of Comedy” star legally adopted all three of Marjorie’s children after the couple’s wedding.
Steve and Marjorie celebrated their seventeenth wedding anniversary on a whimsical vacation to Taormina, Italy, where they were joined by several of their children, proving that gossip can never destroy their relationship.
