Kylie Jenner slammed for wearing a dress with her face on after years of criticism over her plastic surgery

Viewers who’ve been following Keeping Up with the Kardashians for nearly twenty years know that tuning in to the life of the favored family also means witnessing the ever-changing appearances of the famous sisters.

Notably, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and the youngest sibling, Kylie Jenner, have amazed people with their thinner or suddenly fuller lips, bulging buttocks, and more.

Kylie (26) once stated that her improved facial appearance was the result of skillful makeup and good lighting. Although she initially denied the rumors about plastic surgery, she finally admitted truthfully in 2015 that she used fillers once in a while.

But fans and critics alike have been continuously scrutinizing the Kylie Cosmetics founder’s face, including recent speculation that she underwent cheek implant surgery just in time to impress photographers in France.

The billionaire businesswoman was amongst the celebrities who got here to Paris Fashion Week. In between turning heads in a black and white form-fitting Schiaparelli dress, Kylie gave her Instagram followers a peek at a shoot that seemed fitting.

In two photos shared in her Sept. 27 Story posts, she showed off a black, custom, strapless gown covered in pearl beads that recreated her face.

Balmain designer Oliver Rousteing is responsible for the spring/summer 2025 look that sparked hundreds of reactions.

British Vogue described this look as “a compliment of the highest order. “Jenner is proof that you just have to be your own biggest fan.” Elsewhere on the Internet, however, comments were much less kind. When the images were shared by Shadow Room” one person joked: “She should have put her old face on it.”

Another unimpressed follower said the style alternative was a sign of the mother-of-two’s self-absorption. They wrote: “Do you know how conceited you have to be to wear (shit) like that lol.”

Someone else decided became a “plastic queen,” as a fourth person said, “Anna Wintour probably has a gag reflex.” Although it’s inconceivable not to note the criticism, there have been also comments defending the outfit, calling it “cute” and “wonderful”.

This summer, fans of the long-running reality show, currently airing on Hulu, witnessed Kylie struggle with criticism of her appearance.

“It’s a miracle that I still have self-confidence and that I can still look in the mirror and think I’m pretty,” Kendall Jenner told her model sister.

She then tearfully explained, “I went on a trip last year dissolving half of my lip filler,” and that she hated “even having this conversation all the time.” Kylie clearly used her 2023 Paris Fashion Week appearance as evidence of the mixed reactions she’s been receiving.

The reality star said: “I’ll see other comments like, ‘Because she did it to herself. She fucked up her face. She had a lot of surgeries.” In a confessional scene during which she talked to a producer off-camera, she confided: “I hear unpleasant things about myself all the time.”
