Season 3 of “Bel-Air” could also be over, but we’re still discussing the season’s impressive roster of guest stars. In a recent “5 Questions,” lead actor Jabari Banks, who plays Will, discussed the dynamic the guest stars delivered to the season. He mentioned the characters played by Marlon Wayans, who plays Will’s father Lou, Joseph Marcell, the OG Geoffrey, and Vic Mensa, who plays Will and Carlton’s mentor Quentin.

Rapper and actor Vic Mensa visited our latest series, “5 Questions” to debate what attracted him to the role of Quentin, what artists interest him, and more.

Vic says he was drawn to the role of Quentin by their shared love of MMA fightsThe Chicago-born artist explains, “The fact that Quentin was a former MMA fighter is very relatable to me, you know, just because I train in martial arts. I’ve been training in martial arts since I was five years old, but now I’m probably more fascinated and focused on boxing and MMA than I ever was before.”

We must also expect recent music from Vic soon. “(I’m) working on an album. I’ve been making an album this year, I’ve been producing most of it. Obviously, writing… a lot, I’m my own producer, songwriter, engineer, mixer. So I’m working on this album and that’s a big, big, big, big goal for me, just to make it really phenomenal and make it personal, honest, exciting, fun, funny, sad, all of that,” he says.
