Black Star of Atlanta recent series “The Inc” is bound to divide viewers with regards to dating rules and waiting for what you really need out of your spouse.

The Season 1 debut begins with 42-year-old black man Marcus Brooks defending his conquests with women, all of the while believing that his perfect lady is somewhere on the market on this planet, waiting to be discovered.

The synopsis for the primary episode reads as follows: “Old friends Charlee and Brooks meet up for a drink, but their casual conversation takes a violent turn when Brooks’ dating habits come under fire and Charlee suggests that Brooks may not be seeing his own “red flags.”

But it’s clear as day to real-life celebrity stylist Tameka Foster Raymond that any man with those stats is a walking red flag, as Brooks’ friend Charlee points out.

Foster, the primary ex-wife of singer Usher, knows a thing or two concerning the trials and tribulations of finding the proper love. The couple was married from 2005 to 2009, and their union produced two sons, Usher “Cinco” Raymond and Naviyd Ely. He also has two older sons from a previous marriage.

In a brand new discussion with Atlanta Black Star’s Osei The Dark Secret, Foster shared her belief that Brooks has some explaining to do, agreeing with Charlee that at 42, the discerning bachelor isn’t an obvious candidate.

“I definitely think that if a man gets to a certain age and has never been married, never had kids, it makes me wonder what’s going on with him,” Foster said.

Speaking from her own dating experiences, in the case of first questions, the writer of “Here I Stand…in a Beautiful State” doesn’t mince words.

Instead, Foster is moving full steam ahead, in search of answers that can determine whether a red flag is definitely a warning sign.

“The first question I’m going to ask is, have you always been straight? That’s a valid question, right? In today’s culture and everything, people are very fluid about how… so that’s a good question. Are you straight and have you always been straight?” she boldly admitted.

Foster was previously married to entrepreneur and entertainment executive Ryan Glover from 2002 to 2007. They have sons Ryan Glover Jr. and Kile, who tragically died in 2012 from injuries he suffered after being hit by a jet ski on Lake Lanier within the Atlanta area.

The businesswoman can also be the mother of a son named Darrin from a relationship that began before Ryan Sr.’s relationship with the “U Remind Me” singer.

Also, addressing the difficulty of a 40-year-old man being childless, Foster shared, “I asked a guy this recently. I said, if he doesn’t have any health issues, why don’t you have kids? You know what I mean. I think you’re an adult, you know, 40 is a long time to be childless if you’re physically able to, you know?”

As for Brooks, who’s in search of love or for perfection, he believes that his exotic dating experiences are a part of his practice of discernment. His ideal woman is not going to be insecure, overconfident, and even overly desirous about him.

Is Brooks actually highlighting his red flags, or are his standards simply influencing his decision to not get married?
