Hulk Hogan fans on edge after shocking Twitter post raises fears for his life weeks after he threatened to body-slam Kamala Harris
Few can deny that Hulk Hugan is a legend when it comes to American wrestling. Since his meteoric rise within the Nineteen Eighties, when he took the torch from Andre the Giant, he carried the previous World Wrestling Federation on his back until it became $6.8 billion company that’s its new edition, World Wrestling Entertainment.
Hogan, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea, has at all times had a brand that was distinguished by his blond hair, blue eyes, muscular physique, which has fueled his popularity as he has appeared on posters, lunch boxes, T-shirts and other fan-made merchandise. He even had a cartoon.
But his often racist statements and political opinions, including being an open MAGA fan, supporting Donald Trump on the Republican National Convention, and publicly insulting and belittling Vice President Kamala Harris, have turned lots of the same individuals who rooted for him from a young age into haters.
The parody site WrestleOops could fall into this category, posting a photograph of him on Platform X with the caption, “HEARTBREAKING (broken heart emoji) Hulk Hogan was found alive this morning at the age of 71.”
In 24 hours, greater than 2.4 million X users viewed the post, and nearly 900 people posted comments. The comments were a mixture of criticism of the account for its vulgar humor and an emphasis on the joke.
“Legal action should be taken against the person running this account,” one fan wrote. he wrote.

Other he tweeted“Too much… that really scared me” – as a 3rd comment he stated“This is absolutely disgusting behavior.”
One user X he exclaimed“Yoooooooo that scared me for a second. My heart dropped.”
While others he said“Leave him alone, he’s a legend” AND “Incredibly bad taste!! Not funny.”
Not everyone was offended. Some jumped into the gag.
“They say the good die young,” one person said. he tweetedbefore adding: “The world will be watching Hogan for a long time to come.”
Other he joked“It wasn’t fun. I got my hopes up and I’m almost celebrating.”
Hogan’s openly bigoted antics have cost him a few years, and his latest controversy could also be no exception.
On August 19, 2024, Hogan, still high from his RNC performance, caused outrage at The Thirsty Cowboy in Medina, Ohio. Fueled by the gang and alcohol, he grabbed a microphone and launched right into a derogatory tirade, threatening to “body-slam” Vice President Kamala Harris and mocking her Native American heritage.
Someone in the gang recorded his disgusting remark, which was sent to TMZ, from where it was distributed world wide.
“You want me to bodyslam somebody? You want me to bodyslam Kamala Harris?” he shouted to the gang. “I said, you want me to bodyslam Kamala Harris? You want me to bodyslam Kamala?”
His mockery didn’t stop there. Hogan raised his hand in a stereotypical gesture, asking, “Is Kamala a chameleon? Is she Indian?”
Hogan’s attack on Harris struck many as offensive, noting that her father is Jamaican and her mother is of Asian Indian descent.
The backlash was swift. A day after his remarks, director Todd Phillips announced that the long-awaited Hogan biopic, which was to star Chris Hemsworth, had been scrapped. “I love what we tried to do, but it’s not going to work for me,” Phillips told Variety.
Hogan was also heckled at a social gathering, however the unruly web personality mocked him using his own theme song and catchphrases.
Hogan’s history of racist comments is well-documented. In 2015, he was fired from WWE after a video surfaced of him repeatedly using the N-word in reference to his daughter’s dating life.
WWE severed all ties with him, removing his name from the Hall of Fame and pulling his merchandise. Although he eventually apologized and was reinstated in 2018, his image never fully recovered in the general public eye, leaving him in search of solace and celebration within the midst of Trump’s America.
Hogan recently revealed in an interview with Jake Paul:“IMPULSING” that he has signed a five-year contract with WWE that features ambassadorships, licensing and product merchandising.
