The PGA Tour parody account on X shared a made-up quote attributed to Tiger Woods. The meme read, “Kamala’s fake black accent is embarrassing and extremely offensive.” The tweet has garnered over 6 million views on the platform.

“It sounded funny” he wrote one person couldn’t imagine Woods said something like that on X.

Another unbeliever he said“Well, first of all, there’s no such thing as a black accent. Anyone who uses that phrase is just a racist. I’ve heard black people speak from many different places. It’s never about skin color. It’s racist propaganda.”

As the fake tweet went viral, conservatives and liberals clashed over the fake scandal. 2 Live Crew rapper Luther Campbell, known professionally as “Uncle Luke,” even shot Tiger in a video posted on Instagram.

“Wait a fucking minute for that call. Tiger Woods is offended that Kamala Harris sounds like a black woman. What? From you, n—a? From you? Not from you. Not from the one who condemned his blackness and called himself a Cablinasian,” Uncle Luke said.

The 63-year-old Miami resident continued: “Not you who only dates Karen. Not you who dumped a little black girl at Stanford. Not you who said you’re not black. And suddenly, that’s offensive to who? The Cablinasian nation of your people?”

In 1997, Tiger Woods explained that as a toddler he identified as Cablinasian – a mix of white, black, Indian and Asian – episode from “The Oprah Winfrey Show”.

Woods also admitted that he didn’t want to be referred to as “African American” because he didn’t want to deny his mother’s Asian ancestry. His mother, Kultida Woods, is of Thai, Chinese, and Dutch descent. His father, the late Earl Woods, is of African, Native American, and European ancestry.

Uncle Luke’s uninformed response led to a few of his Instagram followers also criticizing Woods for the false quote. One fan commented, “We value Tiger’s opinion the same way his hairline values his forehead — not at all!”

Others attacked the “Raise the Roof” rapper for meddling in the presidential race between Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and former Republican President Donald Trump. For example, one demanded, “Please stop talking politics, Luke.”

Most of the Instagram comments failed to mention that Woods’ quote was blatant misinformation. However, one person wrote, “You can delete this, you still have time.” The response was, “Unc is on the clock.”

On X Mark Batson, music producer of Alicia Keys, Eminem and others published“People reacting angrily to misinformation is unfortunate. Why would anyone believe Tiger Woods is talking about Kamala Harris’ accent?”

Kamala Harris was born in Oakland, California, to an Indian immigrant mother and a Jamaican immigrant father. The vice chairman’s ethnicity has grow to be a significant talking point for her political opponent.

In July, Trump sparked outrage when the MAGA leader claimed during an interview at the National Association of Black Journalists convention that Kamala Harris “accidentally became black” for political reasons. The claims were in response to a matter about the former president’s Republican colleagues who described Harris as a “DEI hire.”

Trump stated“She’s always had Indian heritage and she’s only promoted it. I didn’t know she was black until a few years ago when she became black and now she wants to be known as black. So I don’t know if she’s Indian or black?”

Harris recently gave her first interview as the official Democratic Party candidate for president in 2024. CNN anchor Dana Bash asked the former U.S. senator from California about Trump’s racist attacks against her.

After shaking his head, Harris he simply replied“Same old, boring instructions. Next question, please.”

Kamala Harris and her vice presidential candidate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, are running against Donald Trump and his vice presidential candidate, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, in the 2024 presidential election. Election Day is November 5.
