Usher opens his first Dave’s Hot Chicken restaurant in Atlanta

R&B legend Usher has partnered with a well-liked chicken franchise. Dave’s Hot Chicken is about to open nine recent restaurants in the Atlanta metro area with his help, in line with a press release.

August 29 soft opened location at 1447 Hwy. 138 SE in Conyers. The restaurant officially opened the subsequent day, he reports.

Usher is considered one of several celebrities who’ve invested in the spicy chicken brand, including rapper Drake and iconic actor Samuel L. Jackson.

Just two years ago, Usher posted a video on Instagram of himself eating a Dave’s Hot Chicken “Reaper” sandwich.

The sandwich, made with Carolina Reaper peppers with a heat rating of 1,641,183 on the Scoville scale, was signed by Usher to waive rights to the sandwich as revenge for being late to a celebration hosted by his children.

The 43-year-old musician took on the reaper challenge in a video and described the chicken’s heat as something that made him “just dance for no reason.”
