9 Times Keke Palmer Proved She’s a Sassy, Understated Beauty – Essence

Lauren Keyana “Keke” Palmer has been an American sweetheart since birth, 32 years ago. The child actress’s stardom was first recognized in 2004 (on the age of 10) for her role in , just before her profession took off after landing the lead role in and (2006). Since then, we have now seen her in lots of movies and tv series, from Jordan Peele to horror , turning Palmer into a face we are going to always remember.
With a cheeky smile to enrich her roles and humorousness, the A-list star is in fact also known for her trendsetting looks. At the 2021 Met Gala, Palmer hosted (and it went viral) in an elongated smokey eye and a bouffant blowout within the ’70s style that mimicked Diana Ross. Then, two years later, she revisited the take a look at the Met 2023. This time, her hair was slicked back and the ends were curled for a touch of ’60s “old Hollywood” glamour.
In a throwback to current trends, the twenty eighth annual Webby Awards saw the actress rock a full black wig with champagne-coloured studded nails and glittery eyeshadow. Meanwhile, the yellow sequined gown on the 2024 Pre-GRAMMYs looked best in an updo, showing off her burnt orange locks that layered over her warm tones. Winning her share once and for all, Palmer brought back the sweetness take a look at the 2024 Met Gala in a foot-high ponytail with sequins cascading from her face to the roots of her hair, reminding us just how ethereal she is.
